il 26 marzo 2011 in occasione del Mr Europe pro league, il presidente della IFBB Rafael Santonja, ha annunciato che ad ottobre 2011, in Spagna si sarebbe svolta la prima edizione dell’Arnold Classic Europe, una gara che porta il nome di Arnold e sarebbe stata la prima gara di Arnold fuori dall’America.

La manifestazione viene organizzata dalla moglie del presidente della IFBB Rafael Santonja e ogni anno, sul palco dell’Arnold Classic Europe, il presidente Spagnolo, ringrazia pubblicamente sua moglie, per il grande lavoro fatto per organizzare un simile evento.

In Spagna, come in ogni parte del mondo, l’Arnold Classic ha il suo format. Ci sono le gare della IFBB, per gli atleti dilettanti, l’Arnold Classic Amateur Europe, la gara pro ifbb, ovvero l’Arnold Classic Europe 2011, una gara di qualificazione al mister olympia 2012, e un grandissimo expo, dove ci sono tantissimi altri sport e espositori.

L’assoluto bodybuilding all’Arnold Classic Amateur Europe 2011, prima edizione di questa manifestazione di promozione al professionismo è vinta dal bodybuilder di origine siriane saied feras. a darsi battaglia a suon di pose libere oltre ad saied feras, c’erano andrey sorkin, gilmar de sousa, mahmut irmak, marian cambal, jose carlos santos, jose bustamante. tutti atleti vincitori delle varie categorie di bodybuilding presenti all’Arnold Classic.
